Any logbook will suffice. At the end of the day it's just a book where you record each flight, you'll write the same information in any logbook.

And you need a CPL to do your ATPL. Where are you flying from?

Get a cheapest logbook, they are all the same.to start atpl you must have ppl as far as I know.

Thats requirement of my atpl peovider.probably your atpl provider want you to get all the flying with them thats why they are saying must have zero experience.but youre actually free to fly with any club or school.also your atpl provider mean you can have zero experience, bur doesnt mean you must.if you know what i mean.you can fly as much as you can afford, but don't do Multiple engine rating and instrument rating before atpl is done.hope that's helpful.good luck

P.s your first trial lesson can be counter towards your flying experience...

Kings Schools sells a great logbook but a lot of the students I know today are using the Sportys Logbook. Hope it helps :)

When I took my trial lesson many years ago they gave me a logbook with my first hour logged. If you check I suspect you might be getting a free one.

I'm sure any school will take your money no matter how many hours you've had elsewhere.

Any flight logbook can do -

As long as there are separate columns for dual, solo/pilot in command, etc. -

Most pilots keep a detailed log until they get the ATPL -

Thereafter, small annual log, pocket size ok, no more flight details needed -
