I bought the book "microsoft flight simulator X for pilots, real world training." I went to microsoft.com and got the free update for my flight simulator X. I did an additional system update that was recommended. then I went to the Wiley.com website to download the additional simulator exercises for the chapters in the book. The flight files open with messages "no flight plan attached; will load without flight plan." then there are some tutorial pages. point being: not all the files from wiley.com loaded correctly the way they are supposed to. any recommendations??? is the main problem the file extensions? Are there some additional programs you recommend that I need to buy to load these files? I have Roxio! what else do I need? Its a common problem of microsoft flight simulator users. the so-called "third-party add-on" problem.
