thats the link if you havent heard of it. But it was the first crash for 2006 so all u pilots should know.
Ok now to my question. I wanted to make a reenactment of the crash on flight sim 2004 or x and demonstrate it. Now i wanted to know how i could obtain the black box recordings? Also how can i get the flightplane for that particular flight. I am armenian so i know armenian and thats why i am doing on armavia. Any help on getting the flight plan and the black box recordings would be amazing. Has the NTSB released them?
Thank You

Sorry, just because I'm a pilot does not mean that I keep up on the crashes... especially from '06 but anyway... I dont think you would be able to obtain the info on the FDR... or the Flight Data Recorder, which records the control input and engine settings... and in this case, the CVR or Cockpit Voice Recorder wont do you much good...

By the way, may I ask why you want to re-create an airline disaster?

1) "How i could obtain the black box recordings?"

Up to the investigating authority as to whether they will be released. For example in the USA, CVR audio is never "officially" released but somehow it is all over the internet anyway.

The Armavia 967 official accident report has a transcript of the CVR audio starting on page 30. (See link below.)

2) "Has the NTSB released them?"

This accident was not under the NTSBs jurisdiction. It was not in the USA and not an American carrier. They were not invited to assist as it was not an American made aircraft. (The French were as it was an Airbus). The final report was not issued by the NTSB but by the "Civil Aviation Administration of Republic of Armenia; Air Accident Investigation Commission".

Here is the official accident report, translated into English, by the French BEA Bureau d'EnquĂȘtes (CVR/FDR data was processed by BEA on the French made airliner)

Regarding the flight plan, a "canned" route from Yerevan to Sochi was probably filed. Simmer enthusiasts from Georges forum can probably provide the standard routing- http://armaviavirtual.com/forum/ However it was noted in the accident report that the captain modified their arrival/approach portion in the FMS during the flight (see last pages of the report).

Hello,

I'm Armenian as well. I'm the CEO of Armavia Virtual Airlines (http://armaviavirtual.com). I've created a Tribute to the Crash as well, more videos of Armavia on Flight Sim can be found here:

Currently, I'm not aware of a CVR, but I have the Final Report and I can email you the link, since it's too long to post it here, it cuts it off.

Please don't hesitate to email me aper, but please don't email me here at Yahoo, since I just used this account to answer this question, please email me at armenianpilot@gmail.com

Hope to hear from you soon, and please join my Virtual Airline, I can promote you to a Moderation Position on my forums.

Best Regards,
