What kind/amount of flight hours need you need to get a good helicopter pilot job? I have 1500 hrs all turbine

1500 hours should be enough to get your foot in the door, but quality of experience is also considered... Many helicopter companies are looking for pilots who can also work on their aircraft.



Keep sending out resumes and doing job searches, but also consider getting an A&P license. It'll make you a much better job candidate.

If you have that many hours and don't already know the answer to the question.......I worry about you flying at all.
